Odo-Free

Odo-Free is a Kemira Water proprietary blend of trivalent (Fe3+) and divalent (Fe2+) iron salts that work synergistically and is supplied as a reddish brown liquid. It can be supplied at any specific total iron concentration up to 11%. It was developed specifically as a superior product for hydrogen sulfide removal for odor and corrosion control in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications. Odo-Free has demonstrated superior economic and process performance in this application over other treatment chemicals including straight ferrous sulfate, ferric sulfate, sodium nitrate, and calcium nitrate solutions. Because of its greater concentration, storage capacity is increased.
